For the last 11 years, I have been fortunate to call the Charlotte area my home. Some of the things I love most about where I live are likely at the top your list too! I love attending parades and local festivals, buying fresh-cut flowers and produce at the farmer’s market, spending the day at Romare Bearden Park for a picnic and a view of the skyline, and if you already know me or follow me on social, you know how much I love the foodie scene here. But— do you know what anchors me here the most? The people.

Whether folks are transplants like me, or native Charlotteans (known as unicorns around here), the hospitality is all the same. Charlotte and surrounding is made up of a diverse group of folks with incredible stories about where their lives have taken them and where they are going.
